Burger #1: Upland- If you haven’t been to the newly opened Upland Miami in the posh South of Fifth neighborhood, you’re really missing out! This Stephen Starr and Chef Justin Smillie genius creation, sister restaurant of the NYC original, exceeds all expectations. Their cheeseburger, which unfortunately is only available for brunch and lunch, is so delicious you’ll be planning your return before you’ve even left. Made with top quality grass-fed beef, American cheese, peppadews, and avocado, this creative take on a classic is truly masterful!

Burger #2: Pizza & Burger- Located in the famed Fontainebleau Hotel, this lively eatery of nationally acclaimed Chef Michael Mina specializes in two things: pizza and burgers. With eight very different burgers to choose from, ranging from lamb to salmon and everything in between, you will be delighted with whichever one you choose. If you like the more classic cheeseburger, opt for the Dry-Aged Steak Burger with double smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, and their incredibly tasty secret sauce. If you want to up the ante, add on some foie gras for a decadent burger you’ll never forget.

Burger #3: Shake Shack- There's a reason why this Danny Meyer’s multi-location, restaurant has acquired so much global buzz- their burgers are truly irresistible! They may be small, but they’re full of flavor and made with responsible ingredients: 100% all-natural Angus beef with no hormones or antibiotics. They’re most popular burger, the ShackBurger, comes with a single or double patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their world-famous ShackSauce. Aside from being really good, this fast-casual concept is also wonderfully inexpensive!

Burger #4: Lido Bayside Grill- If you don’t eat red meat, you are a vegetarian, or simply enjoy eating healthy, don’t miss out on the extraordinary veggie burger at Lido. Found in the Standard Hotel’s deck overlooking Biscayne Bay, the food at Lido is just as spectacular as the breathtaking view. Served with some vegan Daiya cheddar cheese on a multi-grain bun, the Veggie Quinoa Burger is a nutritious, housemade recipe that you’re sure to love. Munching on a healthy burger while enjoying some relaxing time outdoors has never been better than at Lido.

Burger #5: Prime 112- This prominent steakhouse, also situated in the exclusive South of Fifth neighborhood, makes some ridiculously good high-end burgers in addition to a host of other top-notch dishes. Whether you go for lunch or dinner, you have the opportunity to try their delectable burger. All of their burgers are made with prime Kobe beef, your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Depending on your appetite, you can get a small order of Kobe Sliders as an appetizer or if you’re very hungry, order the 1lb. Kobe Hamburger as a main course. Fortunately, they have something in between on their lunch menu- a 10oz. Kobe Hamburger. No matter which option you go with, you will undoubtedly be satisfied with you selection!
